Founded in 2020, Lefty Lucy Soapworks was born from my passion for creating all things soapy.  Every product I make is crafted with care using only natural, plant-derived ingredients – so you can feel confident about what you are putting on your body.

Soap making is where science meets art.  It requires precise calculations blended with creativity to produce something truly special.

At Lefty Lucy, I use the traditional cold process method of soap making.  This involves a chemical reaction called saponification – when natural fats meet lye – which preserves the soap’s natural glycerin.  Resulting in a gentle, moisturizing bar that is kind to your skin.

As a proud lefty who does things a little differently, I often use the phase “righty tighty, lefty loosey”.  Since my mother’s name is Lucy and I am left-handed, the name Lefty Lucy felt like the perfect fit for my business.
